Carrel Collecting Chips

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Charles Carrel
Charles Carrel

Hand #110: Charlie Carrel raised to 175,000 on the button and Andrey Andreev called from the big blind. Andreev check-folded to a bet of 150,000 on the {a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop.

Hand #111: Carrel raised to 150,000 from the cutoff and Andreev called from the small blind. The latter then check-called a bet of 200,000 on the {4-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{9-Hearts} flop before check-calling bets of 300,000 each on the {q-Diamonds} turn and {Q-Spades} river. Carrel tabled the {q-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Andreev mucked.

Hand #112: Carrel raised to 150,000 under the gun, Imad Derwiche called from the big blind, and the flop fell {2-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}. Derwiche check-called a bet of 200,000 and then moved all in for 650,000 on the {K-Hearts} turn. Carrel folded.

Hand #113: Andreev limped under the gun, O'Dwyer did the same from the button, and Derwiche called from the small blind. Carrel checked his option in the big and all four players saw a flop of {j-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. Three checks saw O'Dwyer bet 130,000, Derwiche folded, and the other two players called.

All three players then checked the {8-Hearts} turn and Carrel fired out 375,000 on the {4-Hearts} river, which prompted Andreev to fold.

"Why so much?" O'Dwyer asked suspiciously. He eventually made the call and was shown the {k-Spades}{8-Clubs} by Carrel.

The dinner break is approaching, so we'll have updated chip counts for you shortly. One thing we can tell you for sure, Carrel has most of them.
