Thorel Gets Shorter; Tsang Chips Up

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Laszlo Bujtas doubled his short stack and Murad Akhundov won a small pot against Samuli Sipila with quad jacks, then Jean-Noel Thorel lost a bigger pot to Alexander Petersen.

Petersen bet the {7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} turn for 46,000 and Thorel called. After the {4-Hearts} river, Petersen bet 60,000 and Thorel folded.

Last but not least, Anson Tsang chipped up through Niko Soininen. Tsang raised to 9,000 first to act and was called by Soininen in the cutoff and Cord Garcia on the button. The {5-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop was checked to Soininen, who bet 11,000. Garcia folded and Tsang called. Both checked the {7-Spades} turn and Tsang check-called a bet of 15,000 on the river.

Soininen showed the {K-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{X-} and Tsang won the pot with {A-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}.
