Lots of Jamming; No Calling

Level 21 : 30,000/60,000, 7,500 ante

Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams earned three pots without showdown to push his stack to more than 1.4 million and Bert "girafganger7" Stevens raise-folded against the three-bet-shove of chip leader Matthias "iambest2" Eibinger.

One hand later, "hello_totti" raised to 124,800 on the button, and Mikita "fish2013" Badziakouski three-bet all-in for more than 1.9 million, which brought no further resistance.

Daniel "SmilleThHero" Smiljkovic repeated his button jam into two shorter stacks of the previous period to get through with it and Mike "SirWatts" Watson then jammed his button to scoop the blinds and antes.

Fast forward to the next hand, Adams raised the button to 132,000 and now it was up to Stevens to jam the small blind. Once again, no call followed.

Ace-High Works for Eibinger

Level 21 : 30,000/60,000, 7,500 ante

Matthias "iambest2" Eibinger limped in from the small blind and "hello_totti" raised to 210,000 in the big blind, which saw Eibinger come along. The {q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs} flop ended up checked by both players and the same applied for the {k-Diamonds} turn. Eibinger then check-called a bet of 224,485 on the {k-Hearts} river and was good with the {a-Spades}{4-Hearts} as "hello_totti" had bluffed with just {8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}.

Stevens Jams Into Watson

Level 21 : 30,000/60,000, 7,500 ante

It all kicked off with a button min-raise to 120,000 by Mike "SirWatts" Watson and Bert "girafganger7" Stevens defended his big blind. The {8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop was checked and Stevens bet the {6-Hearts} turn for 108,900, which Watson as the shorter stack of the duo called with 650,671 behind.

Stevens wasted little time to jam the {a-Clubs} river and Watson folded as quickly.

Shortly after, Daniel "SmilleThHero" Smiljkovic four-bet to 900,000 against Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph, who three-bet the button to 390,000 and sent his cards into the muck.

Adams Doubles Through Watson

Adams doubles through Watson
Adams doubles through Watson

In a battle of the blinds, the two short stacks from Canada clashed and it was Mike "SirWatts" Watson with the slightly superior stack when facing off against Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams.

Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams: {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Mike "SirWatts" Watson: {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Watson took the lead on the {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop but Adams picked up a lot of equity on the {3-Clubs} turn. The {j-Spades} fell on the river and Watson was left with just over one big blind.

Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams Eliminated in 8th Place ($39,498)

Level 21 : 30,000/60,000, 7,500 ante
Timothy Adams
Timothy Adams

One hand after his double up, Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams was involved in the action again and saw an open raise to 120,000 by Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph and the cold call of Daniel "SmilleThHero" Smiljkovic in the cutoff. Adams moved in for more than 1.94 million from the small blind and Rudolph folded. Smiljkovic gave it some consideration and made the call.

Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}
Daniel "SmilleThHero" Smiljkovic: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

Adams hit nothing much on the {a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop but the {10-Spades} turn was a huge sweat with a gutshot and flush draw. However, the {8-Diamonds} river bricked and Adams went from hero to zero in two hands, taking home $39,498.

Three Double Ups for Watson

Level 22 : 35,000/70,000, 8,750 ante

The comeback of Mike "SirWatts" Watson started with a near triple up when {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} held against the {9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} of Matthias "iambest2" Eibinger in the big blind as the {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Hearts}{8-Spades}{q-Spades} board brought no upset.

Watson then doubled with {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades} against the {j-Hearts}{7-Spades} of Daniel "SmilleThHero" Smiljkovic on a {10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{k-Hearts}{a-Clubs} board before he forfeited a small portion of his stack.

However, Watson scored a third double up when {q-Hearts}{q-Spades} held in a battle of the blinds against Bert "girafganger7" Stevens, who had the {a-Spades}{3-Diamonds} in the big blind. The {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs} board gave Watson top set.

Bert Stevens
Bert Stevens

From under the gun, "hello_totti" raised to 140,000 and Bert "girafganger7" Stevens three-bet jammed the button for 1,127,802 total. Chip leader Matthias "iambest2" Eibinger three-bet jammed his stack of more than 8.1 million and "hello_totti" folded the {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} face-up.

Bert "girafganger7" Stevens: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Matthias "iambest2" Eibinger: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

The coldest of decks provided no help to Stevens on a board of {10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and that spelled his exit in 7th place for $51,445.

"hello_totti" Doubles Through Rudolph

hello_totti doubles through Rudolph
hello_totti doubles through Rudolph

Russia's "hello_totti" made it 145,600 to go in the last hand before a scheduled break and met resistance as Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph in the small blind three-bet to 560,000. The four-bet shove by "hello_totti" for nearly 2.5 million followed and Rudolph called.

"hello_totti": {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

They were off to the races and "hello_totti" prevailed on a board of {q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{6-Hearts}.

Watson Scores Another Double

Level 22 : 35,000/70,000, 8,750 ante

In the first hand after the break, Mike "SirWatts" Watson three-bet jammed in the cutoff and was quickly called by the initial raiser Daniel "SmilleThHero" Smiljkovic in the hijack.

Mike "SirWatts" Watson: {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Daniel "SmilleThHero" Smiljkovic: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

One diamond on the {9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop was a start and Watson found more equity on the {8-Diamonds} turn with a flush and straight draw. However, it was the {k-Hearts} on the river instead that kept the Canadian in contention.
