The "Suckout Table" Strikes Twice

Level 9 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Andriy Lyubovetskiy called all-in after the isolation shove by Timothy Adams while Pierre Christensen got out of the way.

Andriy Lyubovetskiy: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Timothy Adams: {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

The board ran out {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{5-Spades} and Adams spiked the five on the river.

"If you don't shove, I get in there with pocket nines. A five for five [bounty]," Christensen remarked in table chat.

The Dane then got it in preflop for around 130,000 with the {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}. Andras Nemeth only had the {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} but spiked an ace on the flop.

"This is the suckout table," Christensen sulked on his way out.

In the meanwhile, Tom Vogelsang also departed on another table to cut the field of contenders into more than half.

Yokosawa Doubles Through Dzivielevski

Level 9 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Teun Mulder raised to 6,000 and then faced a three-bet by Yuri Dzivielevski. Masato Yokosawa jammed for 37,000 from one seat over right after that to force out Mulder and Dzivielevski instantly called.

Masato Yokosawa: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Yuri Dzivielevski: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Thanks to a board of {j-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}, Yokosawa secured the double up but remained below the starting stack for the time being.

Big Stacks in the Final Level

Level 10 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

With just 26 players out of 56 entries remaining, the final level of the night has kicked off. Current chip leader appears to be Audrius Stakelis but several other contenders are in the mix to potentially snag the lead from the Lithuanian.

Late Double for Danchev

Level 10 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

The action in the final level has somewhat slowed down. With several short stacks still in play, the chips barely went into the middle except for a battle of the blinds just now. Andras Nemeth looked up the open shove by Dimitar Danchev with the far bigger stack.

Dimitar Danchev: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Andras Nemeth: {q-Spades}{3-Clubs}

Danchev nailed the {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop while Nemeth picked up some outs on the {q-Diamonds} turn. Nothing changed with the {6-Spades} river and Danchev doubled for 36,000.

Nemeth Dashes Out Another Double

Level 10 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Once the action had folded to Andras Nemeth in the small blind, he pushed forward his green T-25,000 chips. Conor Beresford was his only remaining opponent and the Brit called all-in for fewer than the starting stack.

Conor Beresford: {a-Clubs}{5-Spades}
Andras Nemeth: {q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

Neither player connected with the {10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} board and Beresford doubled as well.

"To be honest, you run really bad Andras," PokerStars ambassador Sam Grafton joked.

Petrangelo Felted by Astedt

Level 10 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Nick Petrangelo received a bottle of local Staropramen beer for the final level of the night courtesy of fellow High Roller regular Timothy Adams. However, it would not bring any luck as Petrangelo was eliminated shortly after by Nicklas Astedt.

The chips went in preflop with Petrangelo holding the dominated {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}. Astedt had that crushed with {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} and the superior kicker prevailed in the {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} runout.

Kulev Chips Up; Stakelis Chips Down

Level 10 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Audrius Stakelis
Audrius Stakelis

Audrius Stakelis raised to 9,000 and Yuri Dzivielevski then three-bet to 27,000. Stakelis four-bet to 65,000 but instantly folded to a five-bet jam.

Alex Kulev increased his stack in the meanwhile and appears to be a lock for the Day 1 lead. He pushed forward his green T-25,000 chips on the {k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs}{6-Clubs} river against Arthur Conan. The Frenchman had around the starting stack behind and depleted his remaining time bank extensions before sigh-folding.
