On a flop of 5♥8♣7♣, Papapetrou Yannakis checked in early position to Taner Tekkal in the next seat over. Tekkal then made a bet of 2,500, roughly half of his stack.

Yannakis made a raise to put Tekkal all-in and he made a quick call to risk his tournament life.

Tekkal's jacks were outflopped by the set of Yannakis, and he would not improve on the 9♣5♠ runout. He joined the early eliminations on Day 1c of the Eureka Main Event and headed towards the exit.

Van Beuningen Gets Rivered

After another player raised, Inaki Gonzalez made it 1,600 to go from the cutoff. Felix Van Beuningen then four-bet to 6,000 from the small blind and only Gonzalez stuck around with a call.

The K♥4♣8♠ flop saw Van Beuningen continue for 3,500 and Gonzalez flicked in the same amount for a call. Van Beuningen then slowed down on the 6♣ turn and checked. Gonzalez took the opportunity to make a bet of 9,200, and this time it was Van Beuningen who put in the call.

Van Beuningen checked once more when the 5♥ river appeared, after which Gonzalez shoved all in, covering Van Beuningen's 11,700 remaining chips.

The German snap called and tabled A♦K♣ for top pair, but it was no good against the 8♦5♦ of Gonzalez, who rivered two pair. Van Beuningen shrugged his shoulders and headed towards the exit of the tournament room while was left stacking his chips.

Ko Snap Shoves

In a three-way pot on a 8♣Q♦4♣ flop, Paolo Martinuzzi checked from the small blind before Hanseok Ko made a bet of 2,500 from the big blind. Dimitri Laue quickly folded on the button, after which Martinuzzi put in a raise to 7,000.

Ko then wasted no time before putting in the rest of his chips, totaling 26,000. This sent Martinuzzi into a tank that lasted for over five minutes. After having apologized profusely to his table mates for taking so long and many sighs, he put in the call to put the South Korean player at risk.

"Oh," Martinuzzi remarked after seeing that he had overestimated Ko's holding, as he was drawing to only runner-runner outs. Ko stood up as the 5♠ turn sealed his fate.

Martinuzzi stacked up his chips while repeatedly claiming that he did not mean to slow-roll anyone, and Ko quickly headed towards the exit.
