Registration is actually still open for Day 1B, which is likely to have a bigger field of over 200 players. So the total prize pool for the event is likely to be around two million British pounds, which equates to over four million dollars.

Our current chip leader appears to be PokerStars online qualifier Rafael Comas, who benefitted earlier from being gifted a lot of Chris Moneymaker's chips. He's sitting on close to 50,000 at the moment.

Mark Vos has the largest chip stack in the room, but unfortunately for him it's made almost entirely of 25 and 100 value chips. He's on about 15,000.

What a Player

Barny Boatman got involved in a pot with a PokerStars qualifier.

He called a bet on a {6-Clubs}

flop, and then bet out 4,000 into an 8,000 pot when the {6-Hearts}

came on the turn. He was called.

The river was the {Q-Clubs}

and both players checked.

Barny, who was first to show his cards, did so reluctantly with {K-Hearts}

for the nut straight, and then said, "Oh f***!" -- not realizing the strength of his hand.

Ola Brandborn Oversteps the Mark

He made it 2,000 from first position and was called by seat 3, as well as by Andreas Hoivold, who was in the big blind.

The flop came {K-Spades}

and everyone checked.

Turn was the {9-Diamonds}

, and Brandborn led for 4,000, which was called by seat 3. Hoivold got out of the way.

The river was the {6-Diamonds}

and Brandborn fired out 11,000.

He was called and then mucked his hand in disgust. The other player was forced to show his hand even though he was the only one with cards, which incredibly was {Q-Spades}

Moneymaker Over 30,000

Chris Moneymaker continues his revival.

Moneymaker raises 1,700 from early position and is reraised by Ricardo Pintodesousa, who makes it 4,800. It's folded around to Moneymaker, who quickly moves all in and has Pintodesousa well-covered. Pintodesousa goes into the tank and takes so long that a clock is eventually called.

Moneymaker looks supremely comfortable during the countdown, as his opponent takes the full minute to fold and is left to nurse a 7,000 small stack.
