Hands #156-159: Pauli Five-Bet Ships on MacPhee

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante
Sebastian Pauli
Sebastian Pauli

Hand #156: Sebastian Pauli received a walk in the big blind.

Hand #157: Action folded to Pauli's small blind and he looked down at {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}. He raised the action to 275,000. Kevin MacPhee flatted the big blind with {K-Clubs}{8-Clubs}. The flop came down {K-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and both players checked to see the {A-Spades} pair the board on the turn.

Two more checks allowed the {8-Spades} to finish off the board. Pauli bet 325,000 and MacPhee called, showing his pair of kings and winning the pot.

Hand #158: MacPhee completed the small blind with {J-Spades}{7-Clubs} and Kevin Killeen checked {9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} from the big blind. The flop brought {J-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{9-Spades} to the felt and MacPhee bet 120,00 with his two pair. Killeen called.

Fourth street was the {6-Diamonds}, prompting MacPhee to fire 265,000. Killeen let it go and MacPhee took down the pot.

Hand #159: MacPhee found {A-Hearts}{J-Spades} on the button and made the action 200,000 to go. It folded to Pauli's big blind and he peered down at {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}. He cut out a three-bet to 550,000 and MacPhee came back over the top with a four-bet to 1.28 million.

Pauli wasted little time five-bet shipping and MacPhee went into the tank. After pondering his action for two minutes and 45 seconds, Pauli called the clock on the American pro.

After about 45 more seconds, MacPhee opted to kick his cards into the muck. Pauli took down the pot and crossed 10 million in chips.
