The cards were already gone and the seat of Josef Gulas vacated. According to Dominik Paus, the Czech five-bet jammed for 16,000 with pocket jacks and Boswell snap-called with pocket aces. The flop brought an ace and a full house on the turn left Gulas drawing dead.
Back in February 2015, the Czech finished 6th for € 25,630 in this very event but will now have to reenter on Day 1c if he wants to better the result.
Among the early-departed on Day 1a is also one of the King's regular Thomas Traboulsi. The German usually plays under a nickname, but for this event that won't be any good with all real names being revealed. His chips went to table neighbor Petr Hucik, who now enjoys double the starting stack.

European Poker Tour regular Grzegorz Wyraz faced a reraise to 1,625 by the player in the big blind and the Pole then squeezed to 3,800. His opponent called and they headed to a flop of . Jan Krejci checked his option and Wyraz continued for 2,100, which the Czech called.
On the turn, Krejci then check-folded to a second barrel worth 5,100 to remain around starting stack. Wyraz was relieved and started stacking the chips after taking off his sunglasses.
With at least 192 players on Day 1a, the first starting day of the Eureka 6 Rozvadov can already be seen as big success. The previous edition attracted 98 entries, thus today's field is almost double in size. Only four players have been eliminated thus far and the registration remains open for another three levels or two hours and break.
Claudius Istrate helped himself back up to 16,000 chips when shoving the river out of the big blind for 7,550. The pot was about as much and his opponent Adrian Esslen on the button tanked for a while before releasing his cards. "Call!" Istrate wished and flashed queen-ten for a turned straight.

Raschke said that he had raised from under the gun and spiked bottom set with pocket deuces in a three-way pot. Topoly was not willing to let go of jack-ten and got it in after a turn with Raschke fading the straight outs.
Tom Holke four-bet into an open-raise by Ali Sameeian and the Eureka Season 5 contender called with pocket tens. Holke checked behind on a jack-high flop and then bet the turn for 2,500 before firing 5,500 on a blank river. Sameeian tank-called and Holke showed just a king.
Soon after, Holke raised to 775 and was called by two opponents including Tutus Tuncay. The latter bet the flop and Holke shoved for 9,000 with , Tuncay's call came with for top pair and that held up.
UKIPT Isle of Man Season 5 Main Event champion Daniel Stacey has been eliminated while Jan-Peter Jachtmann was just spotted in a three-way flop of . The World Series of Poker bracelet winner checked, as did his two opponents as well.
The turn saw a check and then the bet of Jachtmann for 3,500 into a pot of 4,500, which only one opponent called. After the river, the action was once again checked to the German and Jachtmann's bet worth 10,000 enforced a snap-fold.
