Novak Eliminates Malinowski

Level 20 : 17,500/35,000, 5,000 ante
Wiktor Malinowski
Wiktor Malinowski

Ankush Mandavia opened for 77,000 under the gun and Andrii Novak called in the cutoff. Wiktor Malinowski shoved 467K in the big blind and Mandavia bowed out. Novak was willing, though.

Novak: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Malinowski: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

Malinowski flopped a straight draw on {2-Spades}{q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. However, he couldn't overtake the pair on the {4-Spades} turn or {2-Clubs} river.

With 10 players left, the tournament is once more hand-for-hand on the final table bubble.

Double Bounty for Nuter

Level 20 : 17,500/35,000, 5,000 ante

Pulkit Goyal put in all but one chip, 231K, in the hijack. Timothy Nuter raised all in for 801K in the next seat and "77Storm77" was undeterred, calling off 473K on the button. Goyal tanked a long time then called in hopes of making a money jump.

Goyal: {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Nuter: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
77Storm77: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

The {3-Spades}{7-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{6-Hearts} board missed everyone, leaving the king kicker a winner.

Registration Closes, Prize Pool Finalized

Level 13 : 4,000/8,000, 1,200 ante

The end of registration has arrived after about 4 1/2 hours of play, and a total of 154 entries were logged — 104 uniques and 50 reentries. That means a prize pool of $1,540,000, about 50% better than the guarantee of $1 million.

Of the 38 players who had chips when registration closed, 20 will be paid, with a min-cash coming it at $15,502. The winner, meanwhile, will earn $111,599, plus a heap of bounties that figure to roughly double that amount.

Click the "Payouts" tab above for a full breakdown of the prize money.

Silva Back on Top

Level 7 : 1,500/3,000, 450 ante

Guillaume Nolet opened for 7,200 under the gun and was called by "QuantumKey" a couple of seats over. Pablo Silva called on the button as well before Francisco "VaPaCooler" Benitez shoved for 35K in the big blind. Nolet mucked but QuantumKey jammed for 201K and Silva called.

Silva: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
QuantumKey: {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}
Benitez: {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

the {j-Spades}{2-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts} kept the nines best. Silva's back in the chip lead and now has $12,500 in bounties.

Hero to Zero for Nemeth

Level 3 : 600/1,200, 180 ante
Andras Nemeth
Andras Nemeth

Andras Nemeth opened for 3,000 under the gun. Pablo Silva three-bet to 9,099 on his left. Chris Rudolph made it 25,489 in the cutoff. Nemeth shoved for 161K after using some time bank, and Silva called after doing the same. Rudolph mucked.

Nemeth: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Silva: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The board ran {6-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{6-Spades}, an uneventful one that left Nemeth busted and Silva with more than four starting stacks as the clear early leader.
