No Sweat for Elias

Level 9 : 2,000/4,000, 600 ante

Darren Elias opened for 8,000 under the gun and called when Rui Ferreira set him in for about 100,000 out of the big blind.

Elias had dominating {j-}{j-} against {10-}{10-} and flopped a set to all but end it.

Coleman Cooked

Level 10 : 2,500/5,000, 750 ante

Renan Bruschi opened for 11,000 on the button and David Coleman went into his time bank before shoving 169K in the big blind. Bruschi was in there with a fast call holding {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} against {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}.

the {7-Hearts}{2-Spades}{k-Spades}{3-Spades} board brought a backdoor flush possibility but it didn't come home for Coleman on the {6-Hearts}.

Silva Running Away

Level 10 : 2,500/5,000, 750 ante

Pablo Silva defended his big blind from a raise to 11,500 by Michael Addamo in the cutoff. Silva check-called a large bet of 23,063 on the {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop and then an overbet of 96,095 on the {q-Hearts}. He checked the {j-Diamonds} river and Addamo tanked into his bank before checking back with {a-Hearts}{7-Spades}.

He was likely happy he did so as Silva showed {8-Spades}{5-Hearts} for two pair.

After the win, Silva crossed 1 million in chips and has distanced himself from the rest of the players for now.

Double KO for Jouhkimainen

Level 11 : 3,000/6,000, 900 ante

We only caught the end of the hand as the table closed afterward but Joni Jouhkimainen had two players at risk and it was a great spot for him holding {8-}{8-} against {a-}{k-} and {a-}{k-}. The eights prevailed and Jouhkimainen caused the table break with the double KO.

Muehloecker Busted Again

Level 11 : 3,000/6,000, 900 ante

Thomas Muehloecker gave it another shot but was all in and dominated with {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts} against the {a-}{q-} of Andrii Novak for about a starting stack. Muehloecker turned a flush draw that also paired the board but a brick river doomed him once more.

Schillhabel Waves Goodbye

Level 12 : 3,500/7,000, 1,000 ante
Stefan Schillhabel
Stefan Schillhabel

Stefan Schillhabel shoved for 128K in the small blind after Eelis Parssinen opened early to 16,099. Parssinen called with {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}, racing against {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}.

The {5-Hearts}{4-Spades}{q-Spades} looked good for Schillhabel but the {10-Diamonds} turn brought trouble. Parssinen busted him with a superior pair on the {k-Hearts} river.

Schillhabel fired in the "goodbye" emoji and took his leave.
