Jared Palmer opened to 1,050 from middle position and was called from right behind. A second opponent three-bet to 3,200 and just Palmer and the player behind made the call. The flop was and Palmer led for 2,250. Just the three-bettor called and the turn was the . Palmer led again for 4,550 and his opponent thought for a moment, but eventually folded.
Palmer said he had flopped a set of sevens and was just hoping that his opponent wasn't slow-playing pocket aces.
Terry Ryan raised to 1,200 from middle position and Christopher Lee made the call from the small blind. The flop was and Lee check-called a bet of 2,000 from Ryan. The turn brought another check-call, this time for 3,500. The river was the and Lee again checked.
Ryan moved all in for 8,275 and Lee quickly made the call. Lee's could not fade Ryan's kicker however as his was good for the full house and the win.
