Christopher DeMaci and Kitty Kuo were involved in a pot that saw both players check on the turn. The river was the and Demaci led out for 125,000.
"How much?" asked Kuo and then she probed further by asking DeMaci "you have 800 behind?"
"Yea," said DeMaci with a gruff tone in his voice.
"400," said Kuo, announcing a raise.
"I'm all in," responded DeMaci.
Kuo beat him into the pot, turning over for jacks full of nines. A shell-shocked DeMaci turned over for a full house of his own, nines full of sevens. "Wow," he said quietly. DeMaci was still shocked when he took to Twitter a few minutes later:
Martin Godsk raised to 80,000 from the cutoff and Simon Deadman called in the big blind. The flop was checked through, Godsk then bet 85,000 after the turn. The river completed the board and both players checked, Deadman picked up the pot with .
Robbie Bakker opened for the second time to 80,000, in the first hand he found no resistance but Deadman won the pot with a three-bet to 195,000 in the second hand.
Godsk then raised to 80,000, Bakker called and Kitty Kuo won the pot with a three-bet to 220,000.
The action was opened for a raise and it was folded to Mike Sowers in the small blind who moved all in for a little more than 500,000 in chips. Elliott Zaydman moved all in from the big blind and the original raiser folded. The two all in player's hands were revealed:
Sowers:
Zaydman:
Sowers was ahead and it would stay that way on the flop. The on the turn gave Zaydman more outs as he picked up a flush draw and it would be that draw that would hit on the river. A disappointed Sowers rushed out of the room, not a word to be said to the other players as he was eliminated in ninth place.
First Kitty Kuo raised to 80,000 and Martin Godsk called out of the big blind to check-fold the flop when Kuo continued for 75,000.
One hand later, Elliott Zaydman raised to 125,000 from the button and Godsk three-bet to 310,000 one seat over in the small blind. The big blind folded and Zaydman reluctantly called. After the flop, Godsk bet 235,000 and Zaydman took more than one minute to make the call while pushing the chips forward with shaky hands.
The turn was checked through and Godsk then bet 240,000 after the river completed the board. Zaydman stared at the board, back at his opponent and once again towards the middle of the table.
Godsk had his focus on the board the whole time and tabled after his opponent made the call. Zaydman mucked his cards and lost half of his stack. In a few minutes another break takes place and the up-to-date chip counts will be available.
Martin Godsk raised to 100,000 and Michael Wang three-bet to 230,000. Godsk made the call and they both saw the flop. Godsk check-called 180,000 and Wang fired again for 340,000 after the turn.
The board was completed with the and this time Wang check-behind to muck when shown .
Martin Godsk opened for 100,000 and Bradley Yazici moved all in for 300,000 total. It was folded back to Godsk, who shrugged and made the call. Yazici turned over and Godsk said "oooh, race" as he turned over .
The flop came to give Yazici a full house and Godsk was drawing dead after the on the turn. The river was the and Yazici moved to 700,000 in chips, surviving an all in for at least the fourth time today.
