If Greg Wood, who just won HPT Lawrenceburg for about $120,000, is to win a second straight HPT title, it's going to take at least a second shell.
Three players saw a flop and the first two checked to Wood, who bet 2,600 from the button into about 4,000. Chuck Scaglione came along from the small blind but Adam Friedman popped it to 7,500 in the hijack. Wood thought a bit and tossed in his 15,200. Scaglione instantly moved all in and Friedman folded with a sigh.

Wood was cooked without runner-runner, but he did pick up a chance on the turn. He asked for a king but the river didn't do it.
