Three starting flights are in the books and it's finally time for all of the players in HPT The Meadows $1,100 Main Event to combine under one roof and battle it out at the felt.
Out of 345 entries, 56 remain, and 36 of those will be paid. That means the bubble still needs to burst, though it should happen early.
Plenty of strong competitors remain. Foremost among those in terms of chip count is Andy Spears, who turned in an absolutely monstrous performance on Day 1c to bag over 500,000, the only player to reach that lofty mark. Others big stacks include Christopher Lee, Anthony McIe and Jason Pickup, while Joe Ebanks, Stan Jablonski, Chris Bibb and Iverson Cotton Snuffer also remain in contention.
Everyone's looking up at the $76,165 first-place prize, but first they need to get in the money and lock up $2,484.
For Day 2, things begin at 2,500/5,000/5,000 and progress from there with 40-minute levels. The plan is to play to an official final table of nine, at which point players will bag for the streamed and televised Day 3. Keep an eye here on PokerNews to see who secures a seat there.

Jimmy Stevens was in the tank on the button facing what appeared to be an all-in four-bet from Sean Connell. Stevens had put in 30,000 and Connell shipped in 172,000. Stevens announced a call and Connell tabled .
Stevens held and got good news as flopped. The turn gave Connell a few more outs and the river sent some gasps through the players as Connell nailed kings full. Initially upset after the river, Stevens sent a heartfelt "nice hand" over as he shipped the chips.
