Day 1b of the $675 Oklahoma State Poker Championship Main Event at Hard Rock Casino Resort is officially in the books. The day saw 175 entries. At the end of play 30 players bagged to advance to Sunday's Day 2, joining the 15 players who advanced Friday. By a slim margin, Simon Webster will lead Day 1b survivors into Day 2.

Finishing with 242,000, Webster is closely followed by second place Marco Shoals (223,000), third place C. J. Connors (216,0000), fourth place Benjy Lampert (208,000), and fifth place Brant Jolly (206,000).

Notable players who did not advance from today's flight include Daniel Hughes, Will Berry, Mark Martin, Tim Black, and previous Main Event champions Eric Bunch and Doug Paxton.

The 45 returning players emerged from a total of 293 entries. The $175,800 prize pool shattered the $100,000 guarantee and will pay out 30 places. On Day 2, players will enjoy 45-minute levels as they play down to a winner.

The second and final day begins Sunday, August 18, at noon local time. Stay tuned to PokerNews for live reporting of all action as it unfolds.
