Ian Matakis opened to 12,000 from the cutoff and was three-bet by Jeff Petronack to 30,000 from the button. Action made its way back to Matakis and he thought for a few moments before four-betting all in for 104,500. Petronack went into the tank for about a half-minute and then let his cards go, resulting in Matakis earning the pot.

On the following hand, Matakis opened to 12,000 from the hijack and Petronack three-bet him again to 30,000 out of the cutoff. Action folded back to Matakis and he asked for confirmation of the bet size. The dealer nodded and he sent his cards to the muck, ceding the pot to Petronack after taking one from him on the previous hand.
There was around 55,000 in the middle on a board reading with heads-up action between Ian Matakis in the big blind and Jon Hanner, who was in the cutoff. Matakis threw out a bet of 31,000 after about 15 seconds of thought.
Action was then on Hanner, who went into the tank for about 35 seconds. He then put out chips to call.
Matakis tabled for a flush. Hanner sat frozen, neither mucking nor tabling his hand. He lifted it back up to look at it and the cards went just beyond 180 degrees as if he were about to turn them over. He then flipped them back down and sent them to the muck., resulting in the pot being sent Matakis' way.
"I had a pair and a nut flush draw," said Hanner as Matakis stacked his chips. "A big, big pair and the nut flush draw."
Joseph Beasy saw action folded to him in the small blind and completed, putting action onto Vic Peppe in the big blind. Peppe raised his option to 16,000 and Beasy called.
The flop came and Beasy checked to Peppe, who made a continuation-bet of 25,000. Beasy called.
The turn was and Beasy checked again. Peppe shoved all in and Beasy immediately folded.
Peppe showed for a king-high flush and raked in the pot that was sent his way, commenting about how bad his shove was as he added to his stack.
Jon Hanner opened to 14,000 from the cutoff and was three-bet all in for a total of 74,500 by Joseph Beasy, who was on the button. Hanner thought for a bit and then made the call.

Vic Peppe was on the button and saw action folded to him. He limped in and was then raised to 20,000 by Jeff Petronack out of the big blind. Peppe called and the flop came . Petronack made a continuation-bet of 15,000 and Peppe called to bring the turn .
"I'm all in," said Petronack. Peppe quickly folded and Petronack took down the pot.
Joseph Beasy was on the button and opened to 15,000. He was called by Ian Matakis, who defended his big blind to take action heads up to a flop of . Matakis checked to Beasy, who threw out a continuation-bet of 18,000. Matakis called.
The turn fell and Matakis checked again. Beasy announced he was all in and Matakis quickly sent his cards to the muck.
