Kenny Hallaert shoved his short stack of around 500,000 from middle position and was called by Tonio Roder in the small blind.

Kenny Hallaert: {A-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}
Tonio Roder: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}

The board came {J-Hearts}{10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and Hallaert failed to improve, joining the rail fewer than 20 spots off the money, just 118 players remain.

SUPER HIGH ROLLER: Tsoukernik Takes A Gamble

Level 15 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Leon Tsoukernik moves in
Leon Tsoukernik moves in

After being absent for a while, King's Casino owner Leon Tsoukernik retook his seat decidedly short on chips. He found his chance to move in for just shy of 35,000, when action was folded to him in the cutoff. Fedor Holz was on hand to give him a spin, while both blinds got out of the way.

Tsoukernik's {k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} was in rough shape against the {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} of Holz, and the {5-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop did him no favours at all. The board paired on the {8-Diamonds} turn, leaving Tsoukernik drawing to just two outs. The {7-Spades} river wasn't one of them, and we are now down to 12.

Wladimir Gerner Triples Up, Martin Kabrhel Gives Some Back

Level 15 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Ace-queen giveth and ace-queen taketh away.

Martin Kabrhel had just doubled up “gambling” with ace queen and he was all in again holding {a-Spades}{q-Spades} but this time he had a lot more chips and the other two players covered.

Wladimir Gerner had {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} and there was another player contesting the pot holding {j-}{j-}.

The board ran out {9-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}.

A set on the flop was just what the doctor ordered for Gerner to bust the player holding jacks and take a chunk of Kabrhel’s stack.

It Is Getting Fuzzy for Blasko

Level 15 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

The raise of Matthias De Meulder triggered a three-bet by Marek Blasko to 455,000 from one seat over and short stack Fuzzy called all in from the small blind. De Meulder four-bet to 1,275,000 and Blasko squeezed to 2,455,000 before De Meulder moved all in.

Blasko asked for a count and De Meulder's shove was for 5,830,000. After some consideration, Blasko announced "I fold" and the cards were turned over.

Fuzzy: {8-Clubs}{6-Spades}
Matthias De Meulder: {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}

The board came {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} and De Meulder locked up the pot on the turn already. "I should have shoved on you, it would have been such a bad suckout. I had ace four," the Slovakian said and dropped to just under ten million.

A Weerd Runout

Level 15 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

After a raise by SantaClaus, Koen de Weerd three-bet to 460,000 and SantaClaus four-bet to 1,000,000. It took half a minute of consideration for de Weerd and he moved all in, SantaClaus snap-called for a reason.

Koen de Weerd: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}
SantaClaus: {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}

The Dutchman was on the way out of the tournament area, leaving his chair and ready to grab the belongings. After the {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop he picked up some outs for a miracle and the {10-Spades} turn gave him a straight and the nut flush draw. The gasps at the table went even louder when the {K-Hearts} river ensured a spectacular split pot.

The Money Spots Get Closer

Level 15 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

There are just 112 players remaining and Emanuele Perini is no longer among them. He got his stack in with {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} and [Removed:464] called with {A-Clubs}{7-Spades}. The board came {8-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and Semaska paired his seven on the turn to dispatch the Italian.

Marek Soukup was more fortunate. The Czech was at risk with {A-Hearts}{10-Spades} for 830,000 and got there against {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs} when the board ran out {10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{5-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}.

Last but not least, Jesper Hansen three-bet shoved for his last 1,150,000 and Wladimir Gerner eventually called.

Jesper Hansen: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Wladimir Gerner: {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

The board came {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{6-Hearts}{7-Spades} and Hansen doubled to remain in contention.

Martin Kabrhel Clashes With Philipp Gruissem

Level 15 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Kabrhel as Gruissem Calls Clock
Kabrhel as Gruissem Calls Clock

Martin Kabrhel just collected a 3,000,000 pot where the board at the river read {3-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and was stacking his chips but that wasn’t then last of it.

Philipp Gruissem had called the clock on him on the river and Kabrhel was unhappy that he hadn’t been allowed enough time to make a decision claiming it was called after only 40 seconds.

The counter argument was that Kabrhel had taken an inordinately long time on each and every street so each had he was involved in potentially took close to ten minutes to play out.

Kabrhel vehemently disagreed and pleaded to the other players at the table, “Did I take a long time?”

To Kabrhel’s dismay at least five of them nodded in assent that yes, he did take too long for their liking.

This is not the first time in his poker career that Kabrhel has had this problem. It is unlikely to be the last.
