Triton Poker Room Action

Level 9 : 10,000/20,000, 25,000 ante
Daria Feshchenko
Daria Feshchenko

On the tail end of a bigger pot on the table of Igor Yaroshevskyy, the board showed {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} and Denis Pavlenko bet 335,000 to pick up a call from his sole opponent Iosif Beskrovniy. Pavlenko tabled the {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} for the nut flush and his opponent only had {Q-Spades}{J-Clubs} for top pair.

Daria Feshchenko bet the {Q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Spades}{5-Diamonds} turn for 125,000 and Jack Sinclair called on the button. Feshchenko then shoved the {K-Spades} river for 350,000 and Sinclair folded with a very similar stack size behind.

One table over, Aleksandr Shevelev called all in for a mere 125,000 in the big blind and faced Natalia Panchenko in early position.

Aleksandr Shevelev: {Q-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Natalia Panchenko: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

The board came {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}{6-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Shevelev was eliminated for now, but may re-enter until the end of the fourth level of the day, still.

Last but not least, Maxim Lykov, who re-entered today, was involved in a bigger pot with Sergey Ananev. The flop showed {J-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades} and Ananev checked in middle position, then called a bet of 200,000 by Lykov. On the {K-Hearts} turn, Ananev checked once more and a second barrel of Lykov for 275,000 did the trick to claim the pot uncontested.

Zaichenko folded and Satubayev gave it a minute to think about the decision. Zaichenko called the clock on him and Satubayev then called right away.

Andrey Pateychuk: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}
Shyngis Satubayev: {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}

Andrey Gulyy
Andrey Gulyy

A cold four-bet to 535,000 was in front of Andrey Gulyy in the big blind and the initial raiser had already folded. Ming Juen Teoh on the button squeezed for more than 1.3 million and Gulyy moved all in, Teoh called instantly.

Ming Juen Teoh: {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}
Andrey Gulyy: {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}

The board came {10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{3-Spades}{8-Hearts} and Teoh doubled for 2,125,000, which put a major dent into Gulyy's stack.

Geilich Jumps to Over Five Million

Level 12 : 15,000/35,000, 35,000 ante
Ludovic Geilich
Ludovic Geilich

The board was down {3-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{j-Hearts}, and Ludovic Geilich was heads-up against Yury Tuzov.

Tuzov had checked the river, and with a stack of around 1,500,000 behind him, he was put to the ultimate test by Geilich who bet 2,000,000. Tuzov thought about his decision for a minute before he put his tournament life on the line and called.

Geilich flipped over {7-Spades}{4-Spades} for the flopped straight, and Tuzov's pocket fours went into the muck as he exited from the table.

partypoker ambassador Geilich who joined the Day 2 action midway through level 10 moved his chip stack up to 5.3m.

Niall Farrell
Niall Farrell

The board was down {q-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{9-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} when Niall Farrell bet 700,000 into a pot of around 800,000.

In the big blind and facing the decision was Andrey Chesnokov. He thought for a minute and counted his chips before he made a move and called.

Farrell flipped over {6-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a flush and took down the pot after Chesnokov mucked. The Scot is now up to 3.3m in chips after previously having a slow start to the Main Event in yesterday's Day 1c when he fired two bullets unsuccessfully.

More for Pateychuk; Adams Busts Shaulskiy

Level 13 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Timothy Adams in an earlier event
Timothy Adams in an earlier event

Igor Yaroshevskyy raised from under the gun and Andrey Pateychuk three-bet to 275,000 on the button, which big stack Yaroshevskyy called. On the {J-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop, Yaroshevskyy checked and Pateychuk claimed the pot with a continuation bet of 225,000.

Sergey Shaulskiy moved all in for his last 535,000 from early position and Timothy Adams called from one seat over, the rest of the table including Aymon Hata in the big blind folded.

Sergey Shaulskiy: {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}
Timothy Adams: {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}

On the {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop, Adams picked up a flush draw and sure enough immediately got there on the {8-Hearts} turn to leave his opponent drawing dead. The meaningless {Q-Diamonds} river was a needle for Shaulskiy, and Hata said "I had queen three of hearts" in table chat to Adams.

Sinclair on the Rise on the Feature Table

Level 15 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Jack Sinclair
Jack Sinclair

Over on the feature table, Ilia Kuteinokov raised and then four-bet all in from early position with the {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} and Vladimir Shchemelev, who had three-bet the hijack with the {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}, quickly called to put his opponent at risk for 945,000.

The board came {6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{4-Spades}{K-Hearts} and that was it for Kuteinokov.

At the same time on the secondary feature, Denis Ten had gone all in with {A-Spades}{5-Spades} for 575,000 and Jack Sinclair called in the big blind with {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}. The {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop brought some chop outs, but the {J-Spades} turn and {8-Clubs} river brought no help.

Sinclair had built his stack further just before that after he flopped two pair with seven-six and called the river bet of 400,000 by Daria Feshchenko in the big blind. The nine paired on the river to counterfit Sinclair's hand, but he looked through the bluff attempt of Feshchenko with a busted straight draw and took over the lead on the table.

Ashraf Eliminated By Two Outer

Level 15 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Waheed Ashraf
Waheed Ashraf

The flop was down {9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}, and Gytis Lazauninkas had checked from early position to Waheed Ashraf on the button, who bet 225,000. Ashraf had about 1.3m behind him and Lazauninkas, who had him covered, moved all in. Ashraf needed a minute to think before he decided to call.

Waheed Ashraf: {q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Gytis Lazauninkas: {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

Lazauninkas had a commanding lead with his overpair to the board, and Ashraf needed help, which is exactly what he got on the turn when the dealer flipped over the {q-Hearts} to give him two pair. But his lead lasted a matter of milliseconds when the river card was revealed to be the {j-Clubs} to give Lazauninkas a surprise set and a lock on the pot to eliminate Ashraf.
