Filipovic Doubles Through Cornea

Level 3 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Teun Mulder was the one opening the action with a raise to 21,000 from the hijack but it escalated quickly when Darinko Filipovic three-bet to 100,000. Big blind Sergiu Cornea put 604,000 in the middle which was enough to cover both Mulder and Filipovic.

Mulder got out of the way but Filipovic quickly called and they opened up.

Darinko Filipovic: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Sergiu Cornea: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The board ran out {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} and Filipovic secured a double up but he left Cornea behind short.

Level 3 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Blaz Zerjav
Blaz Zerjav

Blaz Zerjav also belongs to one of the early players to be eliminated on Day 1b. Zerjav was seen entering the €330 Turbo Bounty tournament that is running on the side and it was confirmed that he indeed busted out of the Main Event.

Zerjav made a name for himself after he turned a $5 investment into more than $1.3 million on during the 2018 partypoker MILLIONS Online.

He does have another shot at partypoker MILLIONS glory if he chooses to reenter on Day 2.
