The partypoker LIVE MILLIONS tour is returning and doing so with a bang this September. partypoker LIVE MILLIONS North Cyprus is penciled in from September 16, and features a massive$3 million guaranteed Main Event.

Like all major live poker tournaments, the partypoker LIVE MILLIONS tour succumb to the COVID-19 pandemic. Pablo Brito Silva was the last player crowned a partypoker LIVE MILLIONS champion when he won the MILLIONS South America Main Event back in February 2020. it has been a long and arduous wait for the MILLIONS to return, but that wait is almost over.

Clocks Ticking Down on Three Events

There are three events now nearing the end of late registration. The WPT Super $55 is about 10 minutes from closing, and about $15,000 shy of the guarantee.

The WPT Grand has just under 15 minutes left to get into the game, and there are 285 entries so far, a bit shy of the guarantee as well. The WPT Super $530 has just over 30 minutes of registration left, and with 290 entries, it has collected about $145,000 of the $200,000 guarantee.

The WPT Grand registration is now close with 307 entries in total. That put $308,994 into the middle in prizes, slightly above the $300,000 guarantee. Sergi Reixach still leads the way with almost 10 million chips, but Jaime Staples has a healthy stack of more than 5.6 million.

WPT Super $55 is also closed now, but it fell a bit short of the $125,000 guarantee with 2,268 entries. Anton Bløndal is the current leader there with about 1.15 million.

Staples also has a decent stack in the WPT Super $530, which is about to close as well. With only 314 entries, and three minutes to go, they'll be playing for the $200,000 guarantee in this one. Staples still has more than 400,000 chips in this one, with $250 in bounties collected so far.

Ten Million Club in WPT Grand

Two players have managed to get more than 10 million chips now in WPT Grand. There are less than 100 players left, and Jaime Staples is still playing a top ten stack as well here.

The final feature game to start today may well be the fastest as well. The WPT 7-Max Turbo Knockout seems designed for fast action with 7 minutes blinds and a price on everyone's head.

Action is in Level 3 now, with 43 entries in the game, but only 42 stacks as first blood has already been drawn. Thomas Boivin has already picked up $125 in bounties and grabbed the lead with 204,329.
