A big month of February continues from Parx Casino in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, as the second of three major tournaments continues today.
The Parx Big Stax 500 keeps rolling today, with Day 1c beginning at 10 a.m. Players will start with 40,000 for this $500+40 buy-in tournament, with unlimited reentry and late registration available all the way up until the beginning of Level 16, which is the second level of play on Day 2 (scheduled for Sunday, February 16).
Day 1c is the third and final of three Day 1 flights. The survivors of Day 1a, 1b and 1c will return as a combined field for Day 2 Sunday, with the tournament playing down to a winner on Monday's Day 3.
The field will play through 14 45-minute levels today, starting with blinds at 100/100. The blinds will be up to 1500/3000/3000 by Level 14, the final level of play for Day 1.
Players will take 15-minute breaks after every third level, with a 75-minute dinner break after Level 9.
The February 2019 edition of the Big Stax 500 drew 1,540 entries, for a total prize pool of $731,500.
