Alex Wice put in a raise from the button only to have Shaun Deeb reraise to 7,000 from the big blind. It was back on Wice and he decided to make it 15,000 total, which Deeb called. The dealer flopped , Deeb checked, Wice bet 13,100, Deeb moved all in for 53,000, and Wice called.
Deeb:
Wice:
Wice's wired pair of kings was good but Deeb had a plethora of outs. Wouldn't you know it, the dealer burned and turned one of his outs, the ! Wise was reduced to just the on the river if he hoped to eliminate Deeb. Luckily for Deeb, it came the and he doubled to around 137,000.
A few hands later, Deeb raised enough to put his opponent all in preflop and Wice made the call.
Deeb:
Wice:
Deeb needed some major help as Wice had managed to pick up another pocket pair. The flop provided Deeb with what he needed and the board ran out the and . Just like that, Deeb eliminated Wice and won Table Two to advance to the PCA Bounty Shootout final table.
Matt Waxman open-shoved for his last 15,000 with the button and Jeff Madsen flat-called from the small blind. Andrew Chen got out of the way and the hands were turned over.
Waxman:
Madsen:
Waxman winced at the sight of Madsen's aces and playfully tossed his bounty chip in front of Madsen. The flop fell , keeping Waxman alive for the moment. The on the turn eliminated all runner-runner possibilities though and the on the river sealed the deal, eliminating Waxman from the tournament.
Madsen is now heads up with Chen and here's how the stacks look:
Johannes Van Til raised to 2,000 on the button and Michael Binger reraised to 6,000 from the big blind. Van Til, who had folded to such bets in the past, pushed back for 8,200 more and Binger moved all in. Van Til snap-called for a total of 60,750.
Van Til:
Binger:
Van Til was the one at risk but solidified his lead when the flop came down . Binger needed an eight for a straight but couldn't connect on the turn and river.
Johannes Van Til grabbed all his blue T5,000 chips and slid them in the middle to put Michael Binger all in. The bet was effectively 30,000, and after over a minute of deliberation Binger called. He was pleased to see he had Van Til dominated.
Van Til:
Binger:
The dealer wrapped the table and delivered a flop. Although Binger flopped top-top, Van Til now had four outs to a straight rather than his initial three. The on the turn was gin for Binger and he could no longer lose the pot, only chop it if the river was a five. The was a big fat brick though, and Binger now has 60,000 to Van Til's 90,000.
Michael Binger raised to 2,500 on the button and Johannes Van Til called from the big blind. It went check, bet 3,200, and call on the flop, which was followed by the on the turn.
Van Til check-called a bet of 7,000 to see the peel off on the river. Again Van Til checked and Binger bet, this time 27,500. The huge bet was too much for Van Til and he folded his hand. With that, Binger was up to 61,000 while Van Til dropped to 79,000.
A few hands later, there was about 9,700 in the pot and a board reading when Van Til bet 7,300, Binger raised to 24,000, and Van Til called. Binger showed for a rivered wheel and took down the pot. Just like that, Binger was back in the game!
Jeff Madsen opened with the button and was called by Andrew Chen. The flop fell and Chen check-called 4,150. The turn was the and again Chen check-called a bet - this one was worth 7,300.
The on the river brought both straight and flush possibilities and Chen checked a third time. Madsen reached for chips and fired 16,225, sending Chen deep into the tank. After over two minutes Chen reached for his stack of blue T5,000 chips, but thought better of it and mucked his hand.
