Hands #162-166: Wellenbach Doubles Through Rheem

Level 31 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Scott Wellenbach
Scott Wellenbach

Hand #162: Scott Wellenbach in the small blind raised to 640,000 with the {K-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and Daniel Strelitz in the big blind jammed the {A-Spades}{5-Clubs}, Wellenbach folded and was left with 13 big blinds.

Hand #163: Wellenbach jammed the button for 2,175,000 with the {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}. Chino Rheem in the big blind asked for a count with {A-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and called.

Rheem had a live suit and an overcard but didn't get there on a board of {8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} to see Wellenbach double.

Hand #164: Strelitz raised on the button to 325,000 with the {Q-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and Rheem in the small blind three-bet to 900,000 with {A-Hearts}{2-Spades}. Strelitz let go and Rheem recovered some chips.

Hand #165: Pavel Veksler raised the {Q-Clubs}{9-Spades} in the small blind and claimed the big blind and ante.

Hand #166: Rheem opened to 350,000 first to act with the {K-Spades}{K-Clubs} and Veksler called on the button with {K-Hearts}{J-Clubs}. The flop came {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and both players checked to the {10-Diamonds} turn, which brought no betting action either. The {7-Diamonds} river brought a fourth diamond and Rheem checked, Veksler bet 400,000 and Rheem called to pill further ahead.
