The PokerStars 2021 Michigan Spring Championship of Online Poker (MISCOOP) is underway, as the poker festival's signature event of the opening weekend, MISCOOP-4-H: $100 NLHE (Sunday Special SE), $80K Gtd, begins at 6 p.m. EST. This event marks the first of ten days of PokerNews live reporting on a selection of tournaments, including the two-day Main Event.

Players in today's event begin with 50,000 in tournament chips, and the blinds begin at 150/300 with a 40 ante. Blinds increase every 12 minutes throughout the tournament. Players may late register or re-enter (up to five times) until 9:35 p.m. EST.

Event Highlights

The MISCOOP series. which runs from May 8th through May 24th, offers over $2 million in guarantees across 120 different tournaments.

In all, forty tournaments, each at three different buy-in levels, will be offered to residents and travelers located in the state of Michigan to fire at, including Hold'em, PLO/PLO 5-Card, HORSE and 8-Game tournaments, and Progressive Knockout, Zoom, 6-Max, and Win the Button variants to give players a host of different options every night of the MISCOOP schedule.

The highlight on the schedule is the $300 Main Event, boasting a $200,000 guarantee. The $75 buy-in Mid and $30 buy-in Mini versions of the Main Event also have healthy $40,000 and $20,000 guarantees, respectively.
