While the PokerStars SCOOP 2021 series continues for international players, Pennsylvania residents (and players who travel to the state) have their own poker festival to look forward to, as the 2021 Pokerstars Pennsylvania Spring Championship of Online Poker kicks off this weekend. One of the marquee events of the opening weekend, Event #4-H: $100 NLHE (Sunday Special Edition) $75K GTD is the first of ten selected tournaments that will be featured right here on PokerNews, with live reporting, chip counts, and recaps of all ten marquee tournaments, part of the 40-events on the PASCOOP schedule, with three different buy-in levels for poker players of all buy-in levels.

Today's $100 event kicks off at 6 PM EST, and starts players off with 50,000 in tournament chips. Blinds start off at 125/250 with a 30 ante, and the first 10 levels are 12-minutes in length. Starting in Level 11, levels increase to 15-minutes in length for the remainder of the tournament.

Players are permitted to re-enter the tournament during the late registration period, and any players wishing to enter the fray have until 9:40 PM EST, as late registration and re-entries for this tournament are allowed for the first three hours and forty minutes of play.

Event Highlights

The PASCOOP series, which runs from April 17th through May 3rd, offers over $2 million in guaranteed prize pools across 120 events.

The highlight of the series is the $300 buy-in Main Event on May 3rd, which offers a healthy $200,000 guarantee. For players with smaller bankrolls, a $75 Mid and $30 Mini version of the Main Event kick off on the same day, with $40,000 and $20,000 guarantees, respectively.

In addition to a variety of no-limit hold'em variants, such as Progressive KO's, Escalating Antes, and Win the Button tournaments, there are also PLO, PLO 5 Card, HORSE and 8-Game tournaments on the docket, as well.
