After 7 hours and 45 minutes of poker, the final 122 players in WCOOP-10-M: $1,050 NLHE [8-Max, Freezeout, Super Tuesday SE], $1M Gtd bagged up their virtual stacks for the night. When they return tomorrow, they'll be three players away from the money.

Action on Day 1 got started at 1:05 p.m. eastern time and the field grew steadily through the almost 5 hours of late registration. When the desk finally closed, the field topped out at 957 players, just a few players shy of the $1 million guarantee. That put $164,398 up top for the winner, with 119 player total sharing in the prizes.

Both Fintan "EasyWithAces" Hand and Ben "Spraggy" Spragg were in this one. Hand busted the event early, but for awhile, Spragg was in the running for his second WCOOP title of the series. However, he too fell a couple hours before the end of Day 1.

By the time play was closing for the day, they'd played down very close to the money, with Poland's "gardze_wami" leading the way into Day 2 with 3,111,742 chips. Close behind is the only other player with 3 million chips, "alexfull13" from Romania with 3,027,623. Ireland's Marc "14alonso14" Macdonnell is in third with just over 2.5 million.
