Alex Rivera told us he was going to give us a hand to write about. It only took him one hand to deliver.
Sonny Rattan limped from early position, Rivera raised to 700 directly behind and the action folded back to Rattan. He called.
The flop rolled out and Rattan checked. Rivera bet 700 and Rattan called, bringing the on the turn. Rattan check-called again, this time for 2,400, and the completed the board. Rattan checked, and Rivera began the chatter.
Rivera: "Tell me what you want me to bet and I'll bet it."
Rattan jokingly asked whether Rivera was committed to that. The dealer shook his head, and Rivera bet 5,200. Rattan quickly mucked.
Rivera showed the , smiled, and raked in the pot.
"That's it," he told us. "No more."
