Ben Bracken Eliminated in 10th Place ($728)

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Ben Bracken opened to 25,000 from under the gun and got four callers, including John Stempien in middle position. The flop rolled out {6-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and Bracken fired 70,000. Stempien moved all in, the others got out of the way, and Ben called.

"If you have a set you win," Bracken said. But Stempien only had a draw — albeit a massive one.

Bracken: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Stempien: {J-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}

The {J-Spades} on the turn gave Stempien even more outs with a pair, and the {7-Hearts} on the river paired Stempien again to send Ben B to the rail in 10th place.

Art Demmerley Eliminated in 8th Place ($1,100)

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 1,000 ante

This was a wild one. John Stempien opened to 28,000 from early position, Art Demmerley called from directly behind and then Conrad St. Hilaire three-bet to 70,000. Siavash Banai then four-bet shoved for 144,000 from the big blind. Stempien folded and Demmerley reshoved. St. Hilaire paused briefly before announcing a call, having them all covered.

St. Hilaire: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Demmerley: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}
Banai: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

It looked like Hilaire was poised for the double knockout until the {9-Hearts} appeared in the window on the {9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop. Banai darted out of his seat in celebration, and the {5-Spades} turn and {6-Hearts} river secured his triple up. St. Hilaire scooped the side pot and eliminated Demmerley in the process.

Brett Short Eliminated in 7th Place ($1,420)

Maria Parlatore opened her button, Brett Short shoved from the small blind for 185,000 and Siavash Banai immediately announced all in behind. "I'm all out," said Parlatore as she tossed her cards into the muck.

Short: {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Banai: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

Once again Banai finished best as the {3-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} board gave him two pair and the win. Banai has now matched his sixth-place finish from last night and will likely improve on it with his big stack in this event.
