Lou Tomassi opened to 5,500 from early position and action folded around to Doug Cloud in the big blind. He raised to 17,000, and Tomassi responded by moving all in for 65,000 total. After asking for a count, Could went deep into the tank.
Several minutes went by and Tom Lewandowski called for a clock. A floorperson began the one-minute countdown as Cloud cut out 48,000 from his stack, but with 15 seconds left he shook his head and flicked his cards toward the muck. Tomassi is back above 80,000 and appears safe to make it to Day 2.
