Bad Beat = $$$

Level 7 : 300/600, 75 ante

The Western New York Poker Challenge isn't the only thing generating excitement here at the Seneca Poker Room. The Bad Beat Jackpot is currently $142,764!

Seneca Poker Room Manager Amanda Scarcelli told us that the jackpot is the biggest it has been since 2010. This room is filling up right now with cash game grinders looking to hit that big score. The qualifying losing hand is a minimum of quad twos, and both of your hole cards must be used to be eligible.

Brocato Eliminated in Exciting Three-Way All In

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Mike Holmstrom raised to 3,200 from early position and Justin Brocato three-bet shoved for 12,000 from middle position. Action folded over to the big blind, who re-shoved for 14,2000. Back on Holmstrom, he though for a moment before deciding to call. Cards on their backs.

Brocato: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}
Big Blind: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}
Holmstrom: {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}

The {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} flop hit everyone, but the player in the big blind had a stranglehold on the pot with his top set. However, the {J-Hearts} on the turn gave Holmstrom quads and left the other two players drawing dead. The meaningless {9-Spades} completed the board, giving Holmstrom the double knockout.
