Ross Cruising

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

On a flop of {9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{7-Spades}, Dawn Nguyen led out for 23,000 and Anthony Koch shoved for about 75,000. Josh Ross then re-shoved, having everyone covered, and Nguyen folded.

Koch: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
Ross:{9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

Ross flopped another set against the overpair of Koch, and it held up through the {6-Spades} turn and {7-Clubs} river. Ross now owns 17% of the chips in play with 25 remaining.

Runner-Runner Quads For Miller

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Greg Miller was at risk of doubling another player up with his {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} against {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}, and he was a huge underdog after the dealer roller out a {7-Spades}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop. But the {J-Clubs} on the turn suddenly made him a massive favorite, and the {J-Spades} on the river added insult to injury by giving Miller quads. Miller is now well above average with 145,000.

Nearing the Money Bubble

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Action has tightened up quite a bit here now that we're four spots away from the money bubble. Josh Ross is still the massive chip leader with more than five times the average stack, and short stacks Tristran Coffin, Sam Guercia, Bob Koentegen and Joe O'Keefe are trying to hang on.
