Ferro: {A-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Rivera: {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}

Rivera Wakes Up

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Quiet for much of the evening, Alex Rivera three-bet shoved from the small blind over the top of a Scott Hosbach raise. The shove was for 123,000 total, and Hosbach called the remaining 82,000.

Rivera: {A-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Hosbach: {A-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

Rivera faded disaster on the {9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{6-Hearts}{10-Clubs} board to stay alive.

Adam Foster
Adam Foster

Adam Foster shoved for 180,000 from under the gun and Charles Johnson, Jr. called from the small blind. Damian Baird released from the big, and the cards went on their backs.

Foster: {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Johnson: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

Foster picked up additional outs on the {10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop, but only Johnson improved on the {2-Clubs} turn and {8-Hearts} river. Foster was the chip leader hours ago but will have to settle for a 12th-place finish here in the Main Event.

Hosbach Doubles

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Day 1b chip leader Scott Hosbach was on the verge of elimination moments ago but the poker gods had other plans. After Lawrence Schumacher limped from the cutoff, Hosbach moved all in for around 250,000 from the button. David Kelly called from the big blind and Shumacher released.

Kelly: {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Hosbach: {A-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}

Kelly was in great shape shape to send Hosbach home; that is until the dealer rolled out a {3-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop.

"Oh my god," said Kelly. "You've got to be kidding me."

The {5-Spades} turn and {5-Clubs} river kept Hosbach in front and he escaped elimination. Kelly vented his frustration after the hand, which Hosbach did not respond well to, but things have since quieted down at Table 1. High tension here as the final table approaches.

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Damian Baird
Damian Baird

Day 1 chip leader Damian Baird shoved for 172,000 from the cutoff and current chip leader Guy Klass called from the button. The blinds released, and Baird was in front.

Baird: {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}
Klass: {K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}

The {9-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} flop gave Baird a huge advantage, but Klass went runner-runner with the {J-Clubs} turn and {J-Spades} river to eliminate Baird in 11th place.

The remaining 10 players are making their way to the unofficial 10-handed final table. We'll have a seat draw for you shortly.
