Graziano's Jacks

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante
Newton Graziano
Newton Graziano

Rick Block and Newton Graziano got into a preflop raising war that saw the former ship it in and the latter call it off for his tournament life.

Block had the {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}, but Graziano was holding the {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and never really had to sweat it, as the board rolled out {q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}, making him a full house.

The double didn't hurt Block much, but it was much needed for Graziano, who had been bleeding chips all level long.

Charles Johnson

Charles Johnson lost heaps chasing down Rick Block then folding the river on a board with three fours.

However, he managed to double his short stack when Newton Graziano and Dan Wagner limped into his big blind. Johnson shipped it in and only Wagner called.

Johnson's {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} held over Wagner's {8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} on a {j-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{k-Clubs} board.

Ray LaRouech

Dan Wagner shipped it in from the button again, and this time it was Ray LaRouech calling all in for his tournament life with the {a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}.

Wagner had the {k-Spades}{q-Clubs} and although ace-high held through the {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{10-Clubs} board to the turn, Wagner filled up on the {k-Clubs} river to send LaRouech home fifth.

Here Comes Johnson!

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 4,000 ante

If he wasn't before, Charles Johnson is really back in it now.

He shoved almost 800,000 over the top of a Dan Wagner button raise and Wagner snap-called with the {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}. Johnson had the dominating {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}.

Johnson made a set on the {4-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{q-Spades} board and locked up the big double up.

Graziano Pulls Even

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 4,000 ante
Newton Graziano
Newton Graziano

Newton Graziano has pulled even with Charles Johnson on the bottom of the counts after doubling through him.

He moved in with the {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} on an {8-Spades}{5-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop and Johnson made the call with the {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. The board finished up {k-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and Graziano and Johnson now both have one million chips.

Newton Graziano Eliminated in 4th Place ($17,661)

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 4,000 ante
Newton Graziano
Newton Graziano

It was a family pot limped into Charles Johnson's big blind that checked to the turn on a {6-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} board. It checked around to Newton Graziano and after he bet 200,000, Dan Wagner made it 420,000.

Graziano was the only caller, and after the {j-Clubs} river fell, Wagner pushed in. Graziano called it off with the {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}, but Wagner had it, making a flush out of the {j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}.

Play now moves three-handed now after a short break,
