Tucker Still on a Heater Early in the Day

Level 4 : 100/200, 200 ante
Thomas Tucker on Day 1c
Thomas Tucker on Day 1c

A turned flop of {8-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} was showing when Thomas Tucker bet 2,500 into a pot around 3,000. James Sinkovic took a moment to think before throwing his chips in the middle to make the call.

The {q-Hearts} landed on the river, Tucker bet 2,500 again and again Sinkovic made the call. Sinkovic tabled {k-Clubs}{q-Spades} for a rivered pair of queens, but Tuckers turned over {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} for a rivered straight and more than enough to take down the pot, increasing his Day 1c chip lead.

Khajavi Scores a Double Elimination with Bullets

Level 4 : 100/200, 200 ante

Newton Graziano opened to 1,100 from early position, David Olshan made the call from the hijack and Sahar Khajavi continued her aggressive play by throwing in a three-bet of 4,500.

Graziano made the call and Olshan swiftly pushed his remaining chips all in for around 14,000. Khajavi moved all in over the top for more than enough to cover both her opponents and Graziano made the call, the players turned over their hands.

Sahar Khajavi: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Newton Graziano: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
David Olshan: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

The flop came down {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Khajavi's aces were still ahead of her opponents. A {2-Diamonds} on the turn and {8-Hearts} on the river changed nothing as Khajavi took down the pot, eliminating both of her opponents, catapulting her stack over the 70,000 mark and putting her near the top of the leaderboard.

Murray and [Removed:340] get Lucky Against the Wheel of Ives

Level 5 : 150/300, 300 ante

The flop was showing {a-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{5-Hearts} when table seven found a three-way all in. The three players involved, in order of chips to start the hand, were Norman Murray, Michael Ives, and Joseph [Removed:340].

When the cards hit their backs it was Ives in a prime position to take down the massive pot as he revealed {3-Spades}{2-Diamonds} for a wheel. Murray turned over {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for top two and some outs, but [Removed:340] also had top two when he tabled {a-Spades}{5-Spades}, cutting down on some of those outs.

The whole table looked in shock as the dealer flipped over a {5-Clubs} on the turn, giving Murray and [Removed:340] both a turned full house. Ives stood up and started to walk away as he was drawing dead to the {2-Clubs} on the river.

Murray took down the side pot and split the main with [Removed:340] as Ives was eliminated by the unfortunate turn card.
