Hellmuth Takes From Haxton

Level 3 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante

Phil Hellmuth raised to 5,000 from the cutoff, Isaac Haxton called from the small blind, and Sam Soverel called from the big blind.

Colman Shoves on Nitsche

Level 3 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante

Kurganov Out!

Level 3 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante
Igor Kurganov
Igor Kurganov

Igor Kurganov bet 80,000 into a pot of close to 160,000 on the river of a {4-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} board, heads up with Dan Smith.

Smith pushed in for more than Kurganov's remaining 90,000, and after a minute in the tank, Kurganov claimed he couldn't fold and made the call with the {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}, having missed the flush draw and made two pair on the river.

The river was even better for Smith, however, as he turned over the {j-Clubs}{j-Spades} boat and Kurganov was sent packing.
