Alexander Connolly
Alexander Connolly

Both Alexander Connolly and Cosmic Medrano advanced through the Day 1e flight, starting today in the top 10 stacks. The two ended their flight at the same table and now are going at it here on the final day.

The turned board was {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and there was around 35,000 in the pot when Medrano bet 20,000. Connolly called and the dealer flipped over a {j-Spades} to complete the board.

Medrano announced that he was all-in and Connolly went into the tank. Ultimately he called for his tournament life, having 77,000 left in his stack at that point.

Medrano flipped {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs} over for ace-high and Connolly then tabled {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} to pull in the pot for a double with his rivered straight.
