Saucedo Bags Slim Chip Lead After Day 1a
Day 1a of Event #5: Mystery Bounty 300K Guaranteed is in the books after 7 hour of play after 72 entries battled down to end with only nine players.
Topping the nine survivors was Fausto Saucedo of Las Vegas who bagged up 395,000. He edged out Mahesh Rathi who had an up and down day but finished with a large stack of 386,000.

Thomas Hill bagged up their place with 315,500 and Nathan Hays finished with 254,000 to be the players with the most substantial stacks.
WSOP bracelet winner Michael Noori made a deep run and came close to bagging but ended up faltering a few elimination short of the money and advancing.
The nine players will move on to Day 2 at 2 p.m. on Tuesday where they will join every survivor from Days 1b, 1c and 1d in which the mystery bounty format will begin.
