The last flight has now been completed in Event 5: $600 Mystery Bounty here at The Lodge Poker Club in Round Rock, Texas. A total of 201 registrants were gathered on Day 1d, and just 25 of those advanced, bringing the Day 2 total to 64 of the overall 528 entrants.

Finishing on top of the last flight was Zachary Vuong with a stack of 555,000. Vuong was on a constant and steady grind throughout the day until he shot to the top of the chip counts during one of the last hands of the night. Vuong held a pair of kings and shoved an eight-high board, Richard Stevens called with a pair of nines and Vuong held on with his cowboys, placing him firmly on top of the field.

Nipping at the heels of Vuong is Awonke Phewa who managed to bag up 543,000 for Day 2. Rounding out the top five stacks from the final flight are Michael Alvarez (436,000), Eric Salazar (328,000), and Pedram Ghassemi (316,000).

The 528 entries that were gathered throughout the flights failed to hit the $300,000 guarantee that was set, meaning there will be some overlay for the players to enjoy. Day 2 will also bring the bounties into play, meaning whenever someone scores a knockout they will obtain their opponents' bounty chip. Those chips will turn into a spin on the lucky wheel whenever they are redeemed at the payout desk. Prizes range from $400 all the way to $40,000.

Just 64 will be returning tomorrow for the final day which starts at 2 p.m. and all players will then be guaranteed at least a min-cash. The blinds will bump up to 40-minutes in length and the night will not end until a champion is crowned. The prize pool, chip counts, and Day 2 seating chart will be posted as soon as available.

The PokerNews live reporting team will be here throughout the event, so stay tuned as the action unfolds.

Wysotchanski Flops the Lead, Brown Catches Up

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Camille Brown
Camille Brown

Wagner Wysotchanski moved all in for roughly 35,000 and Camille Brown shoved over the top, totaling 52,500. The rest of the table folded and the cards turned over.

Wagner Wysotchanski: {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Camille Brown: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}

The race took favor to Wysotchanski on a {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop that gave him a pair of dimes. The {3-Diamonds} turn did nothing but fill fourth street but a {9-Clubs} river completed a straight for Brown to scoop the pot, eliminating Wysotchanski.
