We missed the action, but were able to reconstruct part of the hand thanks to video from our MSPT partners. After a flop of , Jerry Holderman was facing a bet of 7,000 from his opponent and he would move all in for 11,100 total. His opponent made the call with and Holderman tabled .
The flush didn't come for Holderman, but the turn and river were good enough to crack his opponents kings with a runner-runner straight.
With 172 entries so far on Day 1b, that puts total entries close to 300, crushing the $200,000 guarantee put on this event. With one full day to go, the prize pool just may creep near $500,000.
Steve Williams raised to 2,000 from under the gun and Adam Lamphere called from the button as did the player in the small blind. Jake Baumgartner reraised all in from the big blind for 16,925 total. Williams four bet over the top all in, having everyone covered. Lamphere and the player in the small blind both folded.
