Alan Carty Takes from Jeff Bryan

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

On a {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Spades} board, Alan Carty checked from the small blind and Jeff Bryan bet 6,500. With action back on Carty he quickly shoved all in.

Bryan goes into the tank for a solid minute before he finally said, "I can't beat a set of queens here," and tossed his cards face down into the muck.

Archie Vaughn Knocks One Out

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

A player in middle position raised to 500, Archie Vaughn raised to 2,000 in the hijack, the player in the cutoff called, and the original raiser folded.

Both players checked the {j-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop. Vaughn shoved all in when the {q-Hearts} came on the turn, and the player in the cutoff called.

Vaughn: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Cutoff: {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

The {4-Diamonds} river did not improve his opponent's hand, and Vaughn eliminated one, while chipping up to just under 50,000.

Dana Anderson Eliminates Player

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

There were four players to see the {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop. The big blind checked, Dana Anderson bet 700, and another player in middle position called. With action on the button, he shoved all in for 5,050 total. Only Anderson called.

Anderson: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Button: {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

The {7-Spades} turn and {q-Hearts} river did not improve his opponent's hand, and Anderson won the pot, and eliminated the player on the button.

Gerrit Wierbos Doubles Up

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Shortly before the first break of the day, Gerrit Wierbos found himself all in on a board of {k-Spades}{6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}. The player in the cutoff called.

Wierbos: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}
Cutoff: {6-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

Wierbos would need a spade on the turn or river to stay alive. Luckily for him, the {8-Spades} turn and {5-Spades} river ensured him the full double up.

John Reading Takes Out Rob WazWaz and Jason Seitz

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante
John Reading - Knocks Out Two
John Reading - Knocks Out Two

There were five players to see the {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop. The small blind checked, Jason Seitz checked in the big blind. As did Hank Mlekoday and John Reading, both in middle position. Rob WazWaz shoved all in for 6,425 on the button.

Seitz reshoved for slightly more (7,000) total, and John Reading called both of the all-ins.

WazWaz: {k-Spades}{2-Spades}
Seitz: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Reading: {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}

The {5-Diamonds} turn and {10-Hearts} river sealed the deal for Reading, and he would eliminate both Seitz and WazWaz.

Seitz will have the chance to reenter if he chooses. But unfortunately for WazWaz, he has utilized both of his entries for this flight and will no longer have the opportunity to make day 2, making back to back final tables impossible for the MN native.
