Brandon Lombardo opened the action with a raise to 200,000 in early position and received a call from Sara Stohler in the hijack. Andrew Rodgers squeezed, three-bet jamming all in for 635,000 on the button and action folded back to Lombardo, who re-shoved. Stohler quickly let her hand go.
Rodgers was in need of help and found it on the flop . Unfortunately for him, it would not be enough as the turn put Lombardo back on top. Rodgers was unable to find the case nine on the river and was eliminated in eighth place as a result, becoming the first elimination on the Final Table to earn $17,429.
