Jake Lehne Sends One Packing

Level 13 : 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante
Jake Lehne
Jake Lehne

On a flop of {2-Spades}{9-Spades}{10-Clubs}, the player in the big blind checked and the cutoff moved all in for 52,000. Jake Lehne was on the button and called, which prompted the big blind to get out of the way.

Jake Lehne: {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Cutoff: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Lehne was out in front with top pair, but things got a little dicey when the {j-Spades} gave his opponent an up-and-down straight draw. Fortunately for Lehne, the {3-Hearts} river was safe and he held to score the knockout.

Cowboys Hold for Jason Leurquin

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Jason Leurquin

A short-stacked player got their last 39,000 all in preflop and found themselves in dire straits against Jason Leurquin.

Jason Leurquin: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Opponent: {k-Spades}{9-Spades}

The {6-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop gave the at-risk player a sweat by pairing their nine, but that was all the help they'd get as the {q-Spades} bricked the turn followed by the {3-Diamonds} on the river.

Rip Fritzer Rips It In

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Rip Fritzer
Rip Fritzer

Rip Fritzer moved all in for 49,000 from the cutoff and action folded to the player in the big blind, who thought long and hard before making the call.

Rip Fritzer: {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Big Blind: {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

Fritzer was ahead but his opponent was drawing to two live cards. The {10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop wasn't too exciting, but the {a-Spades} turn was as Fritzer paired but his opponent picked up a Broadway straight draw to a queen.

The river was a paint card, but fortunately for Fritzer is was the {k-Diamonds} to give him the double.
