It is time for the highly anticipated MSPT Bally’s Black Hawk $1,110 Main Event to begin at 12 p.m. noon local time. This is the premier event of what has been a successful series in the picturesque Black Hawk, Colorado.
A buy in of $1,110 will give each player a starting stack of 25,000. Levels are 40 minutes long with a 10-minute break every three levels. This is a re-entry tournament, so entries are unlimited for the re-entry period, which will be up until the start of Level 13. Day 1a will end at the completion of Level 15 or when 12% of the starting field remains if that should come first. Day 1a is one of three starting days, with Days 1b and 1c to also begin at noon on Friday and Saturday.

Action was picked up on the river as the board read . Four players were in the hand, Albert Winchester bet 2,500 into a pot of about 3,500.
Jason Blount raised to 7,000 which folded out everyone including Winchester who folded swiftly.

The MSPT Bally's Black Hawk Showdown Series from January 19-30 has already produced some big results and winners.
The first event of the series was the growing in popularity "Mystery Bounty" format. The tournament attracted a whopping 970 entries and was eventually won by Daniel Sandoval from Thornton, CO.
Thornton had just north of $31,000 in career earnings prior to his big win in the mystery bounty event which became the biggest score of his career.
