Katzenmeier Eclipses 400k

Level 15 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Dana Katzenmeier
Dana Katzenmeier

An interesting situation developed between Dana Katzenmeier and an opponent. Katzenmeier, on the small blind, bet 23,000 on the river with the board showing {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{7-Spades}{k-Spades}{9-Clubs}.

His opponent, in the big blind, put out a number of chips that was more than a call, but less than a raise. The dealer declared it a raise, by rule, to 46,000.

Katzenmeier then three-bet to 73,000, and the opponent made a reluctant call. The 100k-plus pot went Katnzemeier's way, and he has one of the top stacks in the room as Day 1c approaches the end of play.
