The $3,500 buy-in, $5 million guaranteed World Poker Tour Seminole Hard Rock Championship will take place starting Thursday, April 16, 2015.
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla., announced that the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown, now in its fifth year, will return April 6-22, 2015. Held in the resort ballrooms, the 17-day series will feature the $3,500 buy-in, $5 million guaranteed WPT Seminole Hard Rock Championship with three starting flights beginning Thursday, April 16 at 12 p.m. local time.
Last year's Championship was the largest WPT playing field in history with 1,795 entries. Players may play any or all starting flights and choose their best stack. Reentry will be allowed for six levels, and the televised final table will be take place on Wednesday, April 22 in Hard Rock Live located in Seminole Paradise, with live coverage available on www.SHRPO.com.
The Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown will open with a $250 buy-in, $100,000 guaranteed no-limit hold'em tournament with six starting flights starting at 11 a.m., 3 p.m., and 7 p.m. on April 6 and April 7. The poker action will continue with a $570 buy-in, $1 million guaranteed deep-stack no-limit hold'em event with six starting flights April 9-12.
The WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship final table will be aired on Fox Sports. Broadcast schedule will be released at a later date. Action folded to Ievgen Zhadan in the small blind and he announced all in to effectively put his neighbor Postula Jacek to the ultimate test. Jacek thought about it for some time before calling all in for 273,000 total.
Postula Jacek opened the cutoff for 50,000 and Rasmus Agerskov three bet to 110,000 from the button. Bogdan Petrescu in the small blind cold four bet to 250,000 and Jacek folded. Agerskov shoved all in for 600,000 and Petrescu made the call.

The board ran out and Rasmus Agerskov was eliminated in 18th place. Petrescu now plays 1.6 million in chips.
Gornan Florin open shoved for 295,000 and Mudassar Khan right behind him reshoved. All other players immediately folded and it was time fir the showdown:

The on the flop was already kind of scary for Khan. The on the turn did nothing, but the on the river filled up the flush for Florin and Khan was left short.
After doubling with his flush, Gornan Florin instantly raised again to 60,000 from early position. Action folded to Postula Jacek in the small blind and he shoved all in. The big blind folded, Florin instantly called.

The flop gave Jacek some backdoor outs, and the gave him a real shot. The on the river was a blank though and Jacek was eliminated in 16th place.
After getting decimated in the hand with ace king versus king ten, he lost the remainder of his stack not much later. Luckily for him, Postula Jacek busted before him so a payjump was made.
He shoved all in for his last 135,000 and found a caller in Henrik Juncker.

The board came and Juncker busted Khan with his straight. 14 players remain.
At the same time as the bust out of Mudassar Khan, Tommy Nord also got eliminated.
On a flop of it was Nord who was all in for 325,000. Mohanathas Sivagnanam on the button made the call and it was time for these two two open up their cards.
