Wiborg Picks Up Aces

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Laurent Polito raised to 70,000 with the {K-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and Andreas Wiborg's three-bet with {A-Spades}{Q-Spades} shut down all further action.

Oliver White raised to 65,000 with the {J-Spades}{10-Spades} and Wiborg three-bet to 181,000 with the {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}. Christopher Yong four-bet to 380,000 and that forced out White quickly. Wiborg four-bet all in and Yong instantly folded.

Tony Blanchandin
Tony Blanchandin

Christopher Yong shoved out of the small blind and Tony Blanchandin called it off for 319,000 in the big blind.

Tony Blanchandin: {Q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
Christopher Yong: {K-Spades}{8-Hearts}

The {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop was devastating for the Frenchman as he was already drawing dead, making the {7-Spades} turn and {A-Diamonds} river a formality.

Schuman Forces Polito to Fold; Shows Straight

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Jonathan Schuman raised to 75,000 with the {Q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and Laurent Polito in the small blind three-bet to 205,000 with the {A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. Schuman started some table chat and called to see a flop of {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{j-Spades}.

Polito checked and Schuman bet 200,000 with his gutshot, Polito gave it some thought and called. The {8-Spades} appeared on the turn and Polito checked once more, as did Schuman.

The {K-Hearts} on the river improved Schuman to a straight and Polito checked, Schuman moved all in. Polito took a long sip from his tea and eventually folded to get shown the straight by Schuman

Small Pot for Wiborg

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Jussi Vanhanen raised to 85,000 with the {5-Hearts}{5-Spades} and Oliver White called with {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} in the cutoff, as did Honglin Jiang in the big blind with {J-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. The flop fell {A-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Spades} and Vanhanen picked up the hand with a continuation bet.

Andreas Wiborg raised it up with the {A-Spades}{6-Clubs} and Christopher Yong called with the {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts} in the big blind. On a flop of {A-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} both players found a set and Yong check-called a bet of 65,000. The {Q-Clubs} turn went check, check, as was the {K-Clubs} river, and Wiborg raked in the pot,
