Charles La Boissonniere just took down the $1,100 No Limit Hold'em Playground1000 $1 milllion guarantee event for $200,000 after steamrolling the final table. He defeated Garrett Dansereau in a quick heads-up match after dominating the field in the final stretch.

La Boissonniere has just taken his seat here today and looks to take down two massive guarantee events in one series. His win just a couple of days ago was his first, and he is now sporting his newly-acquired partypoker headphones and is looking like he's back in the zone.

Swidler Sets Charette Up on the River

Level 5 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

With about 130,000 in the pot, on a board reading {8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, Carter Swidler checked from the hijack. Duff Charette was on the button and bet 55,000. Swidler called.

The turn was the {2-Diamonds}. Swidler checked again and Charette paused before betting 135,000 this time. Swidler tank-called.

The river was the {10-Clubs} and Swidler checked. Charette thought for a short while and then elected to check back. Swidler tabled {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} for a rivered set of tens and Charette mucked his hand.

We got to the table as Carter Swidler was raking in a big pot with {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts} in front of him.

The board read {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{8-Hearts}, and according to the table Frank Bruno was in the small blind and checked to Swidler who fired out a bet. Bruno piled his stack in the middle and Swidler snapped him off.

Bruno held {a-}{7-Hearts}, but was up against the nuts and he was sent packing.

Swidler now sits on 2,115,000 chips.
