Tzoutzourakis Heroes River

Level 8 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Yannick Gauthier opened to 40,000 from early position and called a three-bet of 92,000 from Stephan Tzoutzourakis in late position. The flop was {4-Spades}{2-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and both players checked to the {3-Spades} on the turn.

Action went check, check again bringing the {4-Hearts} to complete the board. Gauthier bet 65,000 and Tzoutzourakis didn't take long to make the call.

Gauthier tabled {k-Clubs}{10-Spades} and Tzoutzourakis flipped over {a-Spades}{10-Clubs} for just ace-high to steal the pot.

Tzoutzourakis Shows the Bluff

Level 9 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Stephan Tzoutzourakis
Stephan Tzoutzourakis

With about 600,000 already in the middle of a three-handed flop reading {5-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{8-Hearts}, Timothy Deering bet 220,000 forcing the player first to act to check-fold but Stephan Tzoutzourakis check-called.

Both players checked after the {q-Diamonds} hit the turn and when the {5-Spades} completed the board on the river, Tzoutzourakis led with a bet worth 365,000.

Deering thought for just a moment before tossing his cards into the muck and Tzoutzourakis tabled {9-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, showing the bluff.

"For PokerNews," said Tzoutzourakis.

"I had jack-shit too," replied Deering.
