Hui Chen Kuo raised to 33,000 from the cutoff and Genovesi made the call in the small blind. Next to act was Sampo Rynnanen who has play a tight and patient game thus far and he squeezed to 82,000. Unsurprisingly, both opponents quickly folded.
Alessio Isaia just doubled up through Jackson Genovesi.
Isiai opened to 32,000 from under the gun only to see Genovesi three-bet to 92,000. The action folded back to Isaia and he tanked for close to two minutes before deciding to flat call, despite only having 250,000 behind.
The flop came down [4g], Isaia checked, Genovesi bet enough to put Isaia all-in and he was called.
Isaia:
Genovesi:
Isaia was nicely in front but needed to avoid a king or ace or running cards for a straight. The gave Genovesi outs to the straight but the kept Isaia in front and he is back up to around 800,000.
Sampo Ryynanen has been eliminated and is our first casualty of the afternoon.
Jackson Genovesi, who has essentially been running the show so far, opened to 32,000 under the gun and then called as Ryynanen three-bet from the seat to his immediate left. The flop saw Genovesi bet 85,000 and then call when Ryynanen raised to 205,000. The on the turn saw Genovesi bet 285,000 and Ryynanen quickly called. When the fell on the river Genovesi moved all-in and Ryynanen went into the tank, stayed there for 90 seconds, took a drink from his water bottle and called.
Ryynanen showed but the cowboys were crushed by the in Genovesi's hand!
Short-stacked Zeljko Krizan has finally busted out and is our fifth place finisher. Alessio Isaia opened to 32,000 from under the gun and once Jackson Genovesi folded, Krizan moved all-in for 102,000. The blinds got out of the way and Isaia made the call.
Krizan:
Isaia:
The flop kept the treys of Isaia in front but Krizan still had outs. That was until the landed on the turn to leave Krizan drawing dead. The river completed the hand and with that it was game over for Krizan and we are down to four in the main event.
Jckson Genovesi raised for at least the 15th time today, this time to 35,000 and he found callers in the shape of Yorane Kerignard on the button and Alessio Isaia in the big blind.
Flop: - All three players checked the flop.
Turn: - Isaia checked, Genovesi bet 33,000, Kerignard called but then Isaia check-raised to 86,000. Genovesi snap-folded but Kerignard stayed in the hand and made the call.

WPT Malta is now an all-male affair after "Kitty" Hui Chen Kuo was eliminated at the hands of Yorane Kerignard.
It was Kerignard who opened to 40,000 from the button and Kitty three-bet to 103,000 and when Alessio Isaia folded his big blind Kerignard moved all-in. Kitty called and the cards were revealed.
Kitty:
Kerignard:
The first three community cards were the giving Kerignard the spade flush draw, which was completed when fell on the turn. The meaningless was the river card and Kitty's tournament was over.

Isaia opened the betting with a raise to 42,000 from the button and both Genovesi called in the small blind and Yorane Kerignard also called in the big blind.
Genovesi lead out for 37,000 on a flop, Kerignard mucked but Isaia made the call. The turn saw Genovesi revert to checking but he soon called when Isaia bet 73,000.
The river was the and Genovesi checked again. Isaia bet again, increasing his bet to 156,000; a bet that Genovesi talked himself into calling.
"King-queen?" asked Genovesi but he was wrong as Isaia did hold two pair, made with his . Genovesi mucked and whilst doing so said , "nice one Ali. Lucky but nice. I didn't really want to give you chips."
