Since there is a chip race scheduled at the end of level 27, the players would have to play three levels of one hour each. The tournament director has just given them a quick five-minute break after half of the current level was played. Yevgeniy Dudos won back some chips after raising preflop and finding two callers.
Dudos then bet the flop for 75,000 and both his opponents from Turkey folded.
All players are back in their seats and there are 30 minutes remaining of the current level.
There wasn't much post flop action in the last 10 minutes. Mehmet Sinan Ogan won a pot with a continuation bet on a flop against Fuat Tanindi and both Ates Hikmet as well as Yevgeniy Dudos folded to a large three-bet after starting the initial action.
It is only the fifth live event for Mehmet Sinan Ogan as he primarily plays cash game and he prefers Omaha over Hold'em. He happened to win the first one and is on the way to become a threat for the second title as well. Ogan raised from the button and found a customer in Ates Hikmet to see the flop of .
No action followed on the flop as Ogan checked behind and then called a bet of 40,000 on the turn. Hikmet fired the river as well for another 80,000 and was called top reveal for ace-high. Ogan had that beat with .
Ates Hikmet and Fuat Tanindi have started taking pictures of each other with the respective smart phones of the opponent. Does that count as an advanced selfie?
